a) BOUNDED
Human are often bounded by social values and expectations from different parties . Hong Kong , where I came from , is a society which values money rather then morality . People define success as the easiest yet the shallowest explanation , income . After graduating from school , we ended up doing the same thing , making money . There is no need for us to be bounded by theses values . Instead of gaining other's assurance , we should learn to appreciate ourselves . Then , we are free from the invisible prison .
b) SALK INSTITUTE - LOUIS KHAN
Rather than the building , I prefer this part of the Salk Institute more . Khan's work is peaceful and elegant . This photograph not only shows the above two qualities , but also added in a sense of hope .The scenery from this angle varies in weather and time , it always surprise me how architecture can perfectly blend in the site . It kept me wondering how amazing it is that despite the Institute remains the same , the experience you have in this architecture is never the same .
c) SOUL
They said the eye is the window of the soul . I have this 'weird' habit of capturing the look of a living creature . The look in the eye tells a million words.
